• Must hold active RDH license
• 1+ years’ experience as a Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH)
• Valid State ID, reliable transportation and a willingness to travel locally is a must
• Works well with others (both children and adults)
• Ability to work well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification with hands-on live skills assessment
• Able to walk several flights of stairs on occasion as many schools are without elevators

• Assist with oral health management of all patients-being a team player at all times
• Verify the identity of patient using name and date of birth prior to administering treatment, place your initials on the medical chart indicating that verification was made.

• Provide oral hygiene services including dental prophylaxis scaling, sealant application and fluoride application consistent with accepted best practices and standards.
• Provide dental assistance as directed by the dentist
• Provide oral health education and individual counseling to each patient according to known oral health care practices (e.g. tooth brushing, flossing)+)
• Document provided dental services on the patient’s chart.
• Daily travel to and from school sites

Job Overview:
Smile New York Dental is looking for a Dentist to join our office in Bronx, New York!
Dentist Qualifications:
- D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree
- Ability to work well with both children and adults
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passionate, friendly and caring individual
- Previous practice management preferred
- Bilingual, preferred
- Licensed to practice dentistry in the State of New York and free of restrictions
- Other certifications as required by state to include- CPR, DEA, etc.
Dentist Responsibilities:
- Provision of routine and urgent/emergent general dentistry services.
- Development of dental treatment plans in consultation with patients
- Perform diagnostic, preventative, periodontal, endodontic, restorative and adjunctive dental procedures in order to maintain oral health status of the patient
- Refer patients to dental specialists for further treatment, when appropriate
- Prescribe medications in accordance with patient’s clinical needs and health status
- Responsible for the operation of an efficient dental practice in delivering quality and cost-effective dental care
- Provide oversight and direction to clinical staff working within their scope of practice
- Ensures clinical compliance to CDC and OSHA standards, as well as federal, state, and local rgulations related to the practice of dentistry
- Assist in the hiring, orientation, and training of dental staff.
- Promote oral health and disease prevention
- Travel throughout the boroughs, as assigned, to provide dental care to children in a portable setting

• Assist with oral health management of all patients-being a team player at all times
• Verify the identity of patient using name and date of birth prior to administering treatment, place your initials on the medical chart indicating that verification was made.
• Obtain oral health assessment of each patient [new-baseline; follow-up patient]
• Review medical history and other pertinent oral health information
• Provide oral hygiene services including dental prophylaxis scaling, sealant application and fluoride application consistent with accepted best practices and standards.
• Provide dental assistance as directed by the dentist
• Provide oral health education and individual counseling to each patient according to known oral health care practices (e.g. tooth brushing, flossing)+)
• Document provided dental services on the patient’s chart.
• Daily travel to and from school sites
